#RuPaulsDragRace is life! Today has been 100% drag race! I had a dream last night about my love, Adore Delano, shared a joke about my obsession with the show over breakfast, and now I'm binging season 5 on Amazon Prime.
I discovered this amazing-ness my freshmen year of college when I binged through seasons 2-4 on Netflix via my iPhone four. I missed season five and the all star seasons due to my dorms lack of the LogoTV channel. I saw season 1 during its revealed season last fall, and I died over season six watching it every week during its first run! (Depending how long you've been with me you'll know I had some good topics as far as season six goes! Links below!)
If anyone is unfamiliar with the show, or with drag queens in general, I strongly urge you to get out from under that rock! Not only is this show insanely entertaining, but it's full of some real creativity. These lady boys do some seriously amazing work transforming their face, bodies, and character. If you appreciate art then you will really appreciate what this show has to offer.
Like many reality shows it can get a bit dramatic, shade gets thrown regularly, but that's what happens when real people compete. This show is real competition, it's like Americas Next Top Model and project runway rolled into one. Out of everything this show is SASSY!!!
I'm gagging for season seven to begin! I don't know that season six can ever be topped, but Adore Delano and Bianca Del Rio made my life.
So many talented queens have graced RuPauls stage over the past six seasons. I highly suggest everyone takes a moment to watch these girls WERK!
